A Process
One Hundred Years Running
ENGINEERING:
At BRUSIC, we take a holistic approach to engineering. With everything thing under one roof, we can take into account the best ways to frame, finish, foam, and upholster every piece. This means any design, simple or complex, will come out looking it's very best.
WOODWORKING:
To begin production, we select wood with the best quality grain ensuring that every piece comes out looking it's best. Then we use a combination of hand and machine work to form these blocks of wood into a piece of furniture.
This combination allows us to benefit from the accuracy and productivity of machines like a 5-axis CNC machine as well as maintaining that quality and flexibility that only a craftsman can provide.
FINISHING:
As the frames move to the spray booth, we take into account the subtle natural variations in the wood. Spraying more in some places and less in others, we can match any tone, color, sheen, saturation, or brightness you desire across the whole frame.
FOAMING:
After the frame has been finished, it's time to add the right "feel." With multiple types of springs, foam, webbing, and down, we have a plethora of tools to achieve any desired outcome. We will even layer these items, making it harder at edges and softer on interior panels, ensuring each piece looks as good as it feels.
UPHOLSTERY:
Being a smaller, high end manufacture, almost every order comes with a new fabric or leather. Years and year of experience is what allows us to cut, sew, and attach any of these types of fabrics, hides, or leathers to every pieces of furniture.
We work hard to meet our high end clients needs, this is what our process looks like.
SHIPPING:
Upon completion, we take high quality photos of the finished piece(s) and send them to the client for verification.
Afterwards, we custom carton, crate, and or package each piece to ensure it arrives to its destination as perfect as it left our facility.
